      Debra Loftus, Ph.D.

As a private business owner and human resources consultant with more than 15 years of practical experience in corporate environments, Deb is widely recognized for her special ability to connect with leaders at all levels of an organization.

She has provided individual coaching to as well as designed and facilitated development processes for hundreds of corporate executives and leaders at organizations as diverse as Accenture, Ascension Health, Baxter Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, The Boeing Company, Takeda Pharmaceuticals North America, The Illinois Institute of Technology, ServiceMaster, and Cardinal Health.

Prior to her external consulting career, Deb held a series of internal consulting and leadership roles in Organizational Effectiveness and Development at Baxter Healthcare, Alliant Foodservice and W.W. Grainger. In addition, she teaches a graduate school level course entitled “Foundations of Leadership” in the School of Continuing Studies at Northwestern University and is a published author. Deb and a colleague, Dr. M.J. Jiaras, have also developed a highly interactive, online “eCoaching” process that is currently being utilized in a Fortune 25 corporation.

Deb’s coaching style reflects her belief that organizations grow along with their people. Her professional tools include individual psychological assessment and coaching, team diagnostics and intervention, strategic planning, change management, and organizational effectiveness.

Deb is a former Fellow of the Harvard University School of Medicine and holds doctorate and master’s degrees with a dual concentration in clinical and personality psychologies from Northwestern University.
